Marie was in love with her husband, an addict. People on the other side of addiction fight a very different battle. This is Marie’s story of fighting that battle. In the process, she learned that she too had an addiction – an addiction to saving her husband, no matter the cost to her.
“Hurricane Jason” inspires others by telling his story of recovery. He credits the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the Sheriff’s Drug Recovery Initiative for saving the lives of addicts across Charlotte County by sending them to rehab instead of to jail.
